Fall Orchard Canyon Wedding in Sedona Arizona

Orchard Canyon Wedding // Katherine + Ross

// Orchard Canyon Wedding //

I have always been a huge fan of Sedona (as I am sure you can tell by my many shoots i’ve done there) but this place was something special. We have driven through Oak Creek Canyon MANY times before but I had no idea that this Orchard Canyon wedding venue existed! It is tucked away against the Sedona mountains with cabins sprinkled across the property. Honestly, if you are looking for a getaway from the summer heat – THIS IS IT. Imagine, bbq’s with your family and s’mores in the evening around the campfire – summer dreams completed. Pour me a glass of wine, I WILL BE THERE.

Back to this JAW DROPPING wedding though… I met Katherine and Ross at a bridal expo when they were still in the early stages of planning. Ross wanted a wedding in Flagstaff and Katherine wanted one in Sedona. Luckily, Oak Creek gives you a taste of both, so Orchard Canyon was perfect for their fall wedding. If you know anything about Arizona, you will know that we do not see the Fall leaves until about January in the Valley… so when I saw all of the colors in Sedona for their October wedding, I. was. swooning. It was such a mood.

Katherine is a BIG planner. Let me tell you, this girl had her details nailed down to perfection. From the customized robe hangers for her bridesmaids to the MOST STUNNING seating chart I have seen in my life. All of her florals were handmade by her soon to be mother-in-law, and honestly, were some of my favorite I have seen. These two knew how to throw a killer party with top-notch style.
