Megan and Sarah had dreams of getting married in Sedona and keeping things intimate. They invited only their closest friends and of course – ME! In preparation for the ceremony, they spent time hiking around Sedona to find the most ideal location. With an overlook view to Cathedral Rock, they landed on a spot perfectly named – Secret Slickrock. It is hidden above Crescent Moon Ranch park, an area I have shot at many times, but never knew was there! If you are also wanting a Fall Cathedral Rock elopement, without the hike, this is definitely the way to go. It is an easy hike with the epic gorgeous views. I would even guess that it is STUNNING at sunrise as it peeps over Cathedral Rock.
One tip I can recommend to any couple planning an elopement is find a fun airbnb to get ready in! There are sooo many options out there, many EXTREMELY well decorated (like.. can I just move in?), and perfect for your photo op dreams. If you are already planning on having friends and family around, there are tons of options that let everyone stay in one place. Party time!
