Boho Desert Bridal Session
2020 was the year of challenge. COVID-19 made things very difficult for many couples planning their weddings. Dates rescheduled to a later time, big weddings being cancelled and transitioning to elopements, plus so much more. These two had originally planned on getting married out of state surrounded by their friends and family. Unfortunately due to high numbers and travel risks, their plans had to change. To keep their friends, family, and themselves safe they decided to elope out in the desert! A justice of the peace sealed the deal and I met these two out in the desert for some incredible bridal photos.
My favorite thing about these two was their calm demeanor. I can only imagine that having your wedding plans change multiple times is incredibly stressful. However, but these two handled it like champs. One thing I love to do during my sessions is flip my camera around and show my couples how amazing they look. I did this at one point during the session and Kendra just broke down in tears. The photos so much to her to be able to have these photos together during the chaos of 2020. It filled my heart up to be able to do these photos for them after such a hard year.
