This gorgeous couple of mine decided on having their desert wedding at Tela Peralta, AZ. Tela Peralta is a portion of the Superstition Mountains located in Mesa, Arizona. The moment Amy and John set eyes on the location, they knew this was the one. The mountains, desert, and cactus had them head over heels.
There was a tangible feeling of love and positive energy surrounding Amy and John on their wedding day. They celebrated their love in the middle of the calm desert, beneath clear skies, with their closest and most important people with them. It was intimate and romantic and beautiful.
Every little detail was infused with style and personality of the couple. From the custom calligraphed signs, beautiful florals, unique cakes, and the most stunning ceremony backdrop. John background and heritage is Hawaiian. It was important to him to include elements of his heritage into their desert wedding.
What was your favorite part of the day?
“For both of us, the first look, hands down. Just to see each other for the first time that day, after a year of planning and all the nerves to be next to the one that you love and have time to take it all in.”
Is there anything you wish you could’ve changed?
“Nothing at all. The day from top to bottom was perfect. We had the absolute best vendors in the industry and trusted them to do their thing with bringing our vision to life!”
What is your most valuable piece of advice you can share with future couples?
“Take your time and find the best vendors that you can that you feel that they listen to your vision for your day. Remember that this day is about your love story and how you want to tell it. Don’t let other people’s expectations become your desires.”
