Lodge at Ventana Canyon wedding

The Lodge at Ventana Canyon Wedding // Alex & Zach

// The Lodge at Ventana Canyon Wedding //

Nestled up against the Santa Catalina Mountains in Tucson, The Lodge at Ventana Canyon has the most stunning views for your wedding. Take a golf cart ride up the Mountain Course and you’ll find yourself with the most picture perfect view of Tucson. There is no better spot to watch your first sunset as husband and wife.

Cue the tears with these two. Alex and Zach are high school sweethearts with the most book-worthy love for each other. They love a good date night in with Netflix, their favorite food, laughs, and their little pup.

The Lodge holds a special place in the couples heart. It was the place where Zach first asked Alex to be his girlfriend and then later got where they got engaged! With all that history, it was a no brainer this was the place to get married.

From the couple – wedding tips!

What is the most valuable piece of advice you can give to couples planning their wedding?

At the end of the day, you’re not going to care about anything but being in the moment with the person you love. Don’t sweat the small stuff. It will still be the best day of your life even if your bridal party is uneven or if the wedding favors that had so much work put into them on don’t get displayed how you envisioned. The things you stress about in the planning process doesn’t even matter once the day actually comes.

What was your favorite part about the planning process?

The planning process is definitely very stressful. Everyone tells you to just enjoy it, which, at the time sounds insane. I think it is okay to not enjoy every minute of it because it is hard work and a lot to handle! Once your wedding arrives and all of your hard work come together, it is really cool. I will say, going to Walmart at 1am because you seriously underestimated the amount of Hershey’s kisses needed for wedding favors no one knew to take was not fun. Yet now, looking back, it is something we can laugh about. At the end of the day, any part of the planning process can be fun if you make it.
