Modern Industrial Bridal Session

Before the world shut down early Spring last year, I had the honor of photographing this modern industrial bridal session. It, quite honestly, set my soul on fire. The mood, the styling, and our model absolutely knocked it out of the park. A long sleek modern wedding gown paired with the most stunning drop veil that will leave you awestruck.

The session was done in collaboration with Weddings of Color Magazine. Robyn’s vision behind her company is important and a message that that wedding industry needs to hear. It is a very large and prominent industry that is flooded with images of white brides and white couples. Yet, where is the representation of women of color? The couples of color? It’s lacking. So her goal behind this magazine was to create inspiration, showcase weddings, and give representation of those of color. It’s beautiful and I am incredibly honored to have been a part of it.

My favorite touches to the styling were, of course, the show stopper – the gold metallic flaked drop veil from Cleo and Clementine. If there was anything I could change about my bridal look from my own wedding, it would be to add a drop veil to it. Such stunning elegance.
